St Andrews is Scotland's first university and the third oldest in the English speaking world, founded in 1413. Over six centuries it has established a reputation as one of Europe's leading and most distinctive centres for teaching and research.
Staff at Amplified IT delivered a Google Apps solution to replace the existing Student E-mail solution. Through in depth planning & project management we migrated students via an opt-in process to Google Apps. SaintMail's benefits were not only for the student population but it reduced the cost of support and infrastructure for the University.

STIR Network
STIRnetwork is a not-for-profit social enterprise, that
functions as a network of micro-businesses working together in pursuit
of common objectives.
Amplified IT simplified STIRNetwork's infrastructure by deploying Google Apps. Google Mail provided a fantastic interface which was accessible from anywhere so STIRNetwork staff were not tied down to computers. Staff can now video conference and communicate via Google Talk from any location. Shared calendars and Google Docs significantly improved productivity and collaboration between staff and volunteers.

The Scottish Episcopal Church
There are two churches in Tweeddale - the Church of St Peter in Peebles and the Church of St Andrew in Innerleithen. Both churches are congregations in the Scottish Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Edinburgh.
By setting up Google Apps, Amplified IT enabled the clergy and church officers to work together in new innovative ways. The sharing and collaboration aspects of Google Docs eased administration whilst the use of online forms provided the congregation a community feeling through the web.
